Changelog

What changed, release by release, starting at v1.0.4 - the first version submitted to the Elgato Marketplace. Nothing before that ever shipped publicly, so it isn't listed.

v1.0.10 2026-10-16 Latest

Fixed

On Windows, page following and live status could stop working after Resolve started, leaving the deck stuck. They now keep working.
The deck now returns to your previous profile, and other apps' Smart Profiles work again, when you close Resolve - even if the deck had been moved off the DeckBridge profile first.
Resolve Studio 21.1 starting slowly is no longer briefly treated as the Free version.
On Windows, the deck now stays on your DeckBridge profile while Resolve's Project Manager and its dialogs (Preferences, Project Settings, Import Media and the like) are in front, instead of dropping back for a moment. It also follows Resolve as soon as the Project Manager opens.
Switching between pages is smoother: keys and dials now draw as soon as the new profile appears, so the brief flicker is much reduced.

v1.0.9 2026-10-07

Added

Lock and unlock video tracks from the deck - Video 1 to 8 and all video tracks at once, matching the audio track locks.
The command list now covers every command Resolve accepts - 1,055 in all, including the many Resolve ships without a default shortcut.
Command keys gain a Custom shortcut (record any key combination and the key sends it directly) and a Key label to rename any Command key.
The Jog key has a Direction setting (Forward or Back), so you can build your own back/forward jog pair.

Changed

When you minimise or leave Resolve, your deck now goes back to your previous profile, and other apps' Stream Deck Smart Profiles work again. To keep the DeckBridge profile showing instead, tick Keep Resolve profile when Resolve isn't focused in DeckBridge's settings.
The command picker lists the commands that have a shortcut in your active Resolve keymap. Tick Include commands without a shortcut to see the rest.
Clearer names for dozens of commands, and a few that don't belong on a key (such as Revert Project To Last Save and Close Current Project) are no longer offered.

v1.0.8 2026-09-28

Fixed

Custom Resolve keyboard shortcuts are followed again on Resolve 21: presets built from the "DaVinci Resolve" base were being ignored, so keys kept firing the default shortcuts and unbound commands didn't grey out.
Importing a keymap exported from Resolve 21 (a file starting with import "DaVinci Resolve") now works.
Shortcuts now display the way your keyboard shows them - on Mac, Control+W reads ⌃W instead of "Meta+W".
The bundled XL, Studio and Plus XL profiles no longer put page-specific keys on the wrong page (for example, Color-page node keys on the Edit profile). Full Viewer is replaced by Cinema Viewer, which works on every page. Reinstall the profiles to pick this up.

Added

Find a command by its shortcut: type it in the command search, for example ^W, ⌘⇧Z or ctrl+w.
Copy diagnostics now says why DeckBridge fell back to the default shortcuts, if it couldn't read your Resolve keymap.

v1.0.7 2026-09-22

Changed

Windows MIDI setup now guides you to create a loopback yourself, with loopMIDI or Microsoft's Windows MIDI Services tools, and select the ports in DeckBridge - Windows moved MIDI-loopback creation out of app reach, so DeckBridge can no longer set one up on its own. Only the Windows mixer/faders are affected; transport, commands, page following and timecode are unchanged. See the setup guide for the steps.

v1.0.6 2026-09-22

Added

Resolve Free 21.1+ live state is back: page, timeline and mixer (with Resolve's default track labels) update live again, read by DeckBridge's accessibility reader via the operating system's accessibility layer - no bridge script needed.

Improved

Page follow covers every Resolve page on Free 21.1+, including the new Photo page.
Faster page-change detection.
Windows parity: the same reader design applies on both platforms.

The amber link dot is the normal, expected state on Free 21.1+, not a fault - see the Free 21.1+ FAQ.
Timecode intentionally still shows dashes on Free 21.1+ - Resolve exposes no readable playhead outside scripting; see the FAQ for why a guess isn't shown instead.

v1.0.5 2026-09-16

Fixed a Windows install failure: some extra files in the package pushed file paths past Windows' length limit, so installation could fail with a generic "cannot be installed" error. The package is now slimmer and installs cleanly. No functional change once installed.

v1.0.4 2026-09-08

Initial Marketplace release.

Added

DeckBridge for DaVinci Resolve: a Stream Deck plugin, not a profile pack - keys light with real Resolve state, fire your own keyboard bindings, and re-skin as you move between Resolve's pages.

Fixed

Command dedupe: no deck shows the same command twice on any page.
The settings panel no longer sticks on "Loading" while polling Resolve.
Removed the browser popup that opened on first install - the same links are reachable from the plugin's settings instead.
