The plugins: no telemetry, no DeckBridge servers - your data stays yours. The website: analytics only if you say yes, your email only if you give it to us.
DeckBridge is operated by InspireX Ltd, trading as DeckBridge (“DeckBridge”, “we”), of 114–116 Fore St, Hertford, Hertfordshire, SG14 1AJ, United Kingdom - the data controller for deckbridge.io. Reach us at support@deckbridge.io - it is read by humans. This policy covers the DeckBridge plugins - for DaVinci Resolve and for Cursor - and this website.
DeckBridge has no telemetry, no analytics, no accounts, and no network calls of its own. It keeps a small local log on your computer for your own troubleshooting. The Copy Diagnostics button copies a plain-text snapshot of that log to your clipboard - versions, connection health, your active keymap name, recent log lines. It goes nowhere until you choose to paste it somewhere, and it never contains media, project contents, or personal data. Licensing is handled by the Elgato Marketplace EULA shown at purchase - there is no separate DeckBridge EULA, no licence keys, and no activation.
DeckBridge for Cursor is local-only: no telemetry, no analytics, no DeckBridge accounts and no DeckBridge servers. Its network access is limited to checking your own Cursor spending dashboard at cursor.com, plus pages you deliberately open (this site, or the dashboard itself). Licensing is handled by the Elgato Marketplace EULA shown at purchase.
Sign-in stays between you and Cursor. You authenticate in a Google Chrome
window using a dedicated profile created for this plugin at
~/Library/Application Support/com.deckbridge.cursor-usage-meter.
Chrome owns the session state in that profile, exactly as it does for any
signed-in site. The plugin never reads, enters or stores your credentials, and
never touches your normal Chrome profile.
What the plugin stores: derived meter values only - usage percentages, reset times, on-demand spend and cap, and the time of the last successful check - cached in Stream Deck's settings so keys can show the last known value between refreshes. Raw dashboard text, account identity, cookies, tokens and authentication headers are never cached or logged. The support code shown in the settings panel is generated randomly on your machine, contains no usage or account data, and is never uploaded by the plugin.
A technical note on the background session. To refresh without showing windows, the plugin keeps a dedicated Chrome process running with a debugging connection that is restricted to your own machine (localhost). Like any locally signed-in browser profile, that session is only as private as your own user account: software running as you on your Mac could in principle access it, which is true of your normal browser too. The plugin validates that the process it talks to is its own before every use, and fails closed if anything doesn't match.
Clear local session, in every action's settings panel, deletes the dedicated profile and all cached meter values on your explicit confirmation - after which the plugin holds nothing about your Cursor account at all.
Analytics - only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages help people. It does not run until you choose “Allow analytics” in the cookie banner, and declining is one click. When enabled, Google processes your pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address (the IP itself is not logged or stored by Google Analytics), and device/browser information. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time on the cookies page. See the cookie policy for the exact cookies and lifetimes.
Launch list. If you join the launch notification list, your email address is stored by Netlify (our hosting provider) via its form service, and used solely to send you the launch announcement. Legal basis: your consent. To be removed at any time, email support@deckbridge.io or use the unsubscribe option in any email we send.
Support email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Hosting logs. Netlify, like every host, may briefly process IP addresses in server logs to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website.
That is the complete list. No accounts, no ads, no cross-site tracking, no on-site sales. Fonts are self-hosted.
Two processors, both under data-processing agreements:
International transfers. Both are based in the United States. Transfers from the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and from the UK on its UK Extension, with standard contractual clauses as fallback.
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Analytics data (Google Analytics) | 14 months, then deleted by Google |
| Launch-list email address | Until the launch announcement is sent, or until you ask - whichever comes first |
| Support correspondence | As long as needed to resolve your question |
| Netlify server logs | A short rolling window controlled by Netlify |
EU & UK. You can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Email support@deckbridge.io and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority - in the UK, the ICO.
USA. Depending on your state you may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, without discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising - and because analytics is opt-in for everyone, there is nothing to opt out of. The same email address handles any request.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their email, tell us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date below. We will not quietly weaken the plugin's no-telemetry promise - that is the product.
